The Satre Group had the pleasure of contributing site design and landscape design services for this Cultural Center renovation/expansion, which provides a home base for the campus LGBTQ community. Working with DECA Architecture, an existing cottage house is transformed and expanded into a more substantial structure, with the landscapes taking center stage. Various uses surrounding the building provide a series of areas for outdoor activities, tent structures, food production, and quiet garden spaces. Accessibility challenges are addressed through a series of sloping walks, providing everyone with the same pedestrian experience.
